  • Job Details
  • Travel/Contract position for Radiology / Cardiology specialty in Lynwood, CA.
  • Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the role involves assisting by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
  • Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
  • Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
  • Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
  • Assists in training of new staff.
  • Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
    • Job Requirements
    • ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
    • Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
    • Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) certification required upon hire and maintain current.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.
    • Proficient computer skills.
      • Schedule Information
      • On-call shifts required.
      • Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts.
        • Additional Details
        • Required - Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
        • Valid Picture ID (State Driver's License, Passport, or State ID Card).
        • Current photo ID required.
