Job Description:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Payroll Manager processes
payroll for corporate office and it's affiliate entities. The
Payroll Manager will also track salary allocations and payroll
reimbursements.
This person needs to have:
? Knowledge of and experience with payroll software such as ADP,
GREAT PLAINS, Paychex,and Kronos including but not limited to
employee record maintenance, report writing, document maintenance
and website portal
? Advanced understanding of payroll processing software with
experience in implementation a plus
? Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software including
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
? Bachelor?s degree required in Business or related field
The responsibilities for this role will include:
? Acting as resource expert to corporate staff on questions related
to payroll, payroll taxes, allocations and reimbursements.
? Managing payroll related updates in HR/Payroll database including
taxes, direct deposits, employee self-service access to
paystubs/W-2
? Processing involuntary deductions such as levies and
garnishments
? Responsible for payroll record keeping (payroll reports,
timesheets, changes in taxes and direct deposit) and maintenance of
payroll records .
? Running benefit accrual (time off balances) reports for
reconciliation and General Ledger
? Ability to respond effectively to confidential compensation
related inquiries
? Strong problem-solving skills
? Strong understanding of accounting principles as it relates to
payroll
? Salary allocation experience across multiple business lines
